Liladee's Purchase + Advice!

hey guys,

I am always on the lookout for little shops/businesses on twitter that sell jewellery or hair bits and being a blogger brings an advantage to this as other bloggers are always recommending them.

I found Liladee's which is such a cute little shop! When I was having a nose on it, I found this cute little bracelet and I just had to get it for me and my friend.

There's a bit of a story behind why I chose it so you know I might as well share it!

My best friend at school and I were having quite a deep chat one PE Lesson (we were bored and didn't really fancy playing Badminton for the 10th time) and she is originally from Maldova. I don't know if Moldovian people think like it, but her name is Felicia and she is really good-spirited and has a positive outlook on life. Anyways, I was getting quite depressed as I couldn't hit the badminton ball and she just said one word to me; believe. She made me believe in myself, and no lie- I could hit the badminton ball with no problem.
So then the word 'believe' kind of became our motto in life. When she was on a down day I would say believe, and vice versa.

Here's my message for you guys; When your on a down day, or something is not going right or you cant hit the ball in badminton, if you believe in yourself, nine times out of ten you will feel better about it and it is likely that things will go right.

If you don't believe in yourself, then others wont believe in you -you see how it works?
If you are determined that the guy you like will never ask you out, or you wont pass that exam, its likely to come true and it wont happen. But if you think positively, firstly you feel happier in your self with that little bit of hope, but secondly it might come true! Think positively.

Since Felicia joined our school in year 9, I would say I am a much happier person as she has taught me how to live my life happier. Thankyou Felicia!

You can purchase this bracelet or look at the other items here. The shop is full of unusual gorgeous staple pieces. -And they give free delivery for orders over only £3! Not bad ay?

Dotty Dolly Interview

hey guys!

I have my next interviewee! If you haven't read my last interview then click here.

I interviewed Jade from Dotty Dolly Blog!

Let's get started!

1. What/who influenced you to start your blog?

> I've always loved fashion, so whenever I had the chance i would constantly be reading fashion blogs! I loved what i read, what i saw, and it was amazing how much they inspired me, and my style! I had planned to start a blog for a while, but i guess the level at which most girls blog put me off, because i never thought i could be that good! In the end, I just went for it! and have never looked back!

2. What was the first blog you read?

As far as i can remember, I think it was Olivia's! (from www.whatoliviadid.com) She's so inspiring!

3. What statement items of clothing are you loving at the moment?

I'm absolutely loving hats at the minute! Whether its my Fedora, or bobble hat! I just can't take them off! They just add so much to an outfit! I'm also loving tartan print, and i'm actually on the look out for a tartan skirt!

4. What is your favourite beauty product?

Ooooh, this is a hard one! In terms of brands, I can't stay away from YSL! So i think it's going to be my YSL shocking mascara. It's just amazing, and I really couldn't live without it!

5. When did you create your blog?

I first created my blog in September of 2011, but it became more directly about 'fashion & beauty' in the beginning of 2012! It took me forever to edit my layout too, but i'm pretty happy with how it looks nowadays!

6. What's your favourite high street store?

I suppose most girls would say Topshop, but I love H&M for their great prices and often quirky pieces! A great place for basics, too!

7. What blogs do you love reading?

I have so many favourites, but I think Olivia (from www.whatoliviadid.com) is my absolute fave! Her style is so effortless, her writing witty, and never mind the fact she's bloomin' gorgeous! Other lovely blogs are Lily's from (www.iamlilybee.blogspot.com) Megan from (www,wonderful--you.blogspot.com) Kat from (www.jemimaandted.com) and Tami from (www.tami-bee.blogspot.co.uk). But that's just to name a few!

8. If you could swap lives with a celebrity for a day, who would it be?

I've never really thought about this question before! But if i had to choose, it would either be Alexa Chung or Felicity Jones just so i could rummage through their inevitably amazing wardrobes!

Thankyou very much Jade for taking the time to answer the questions and letting me interview you!

You can visit Dotty Dolly by clicking here. It is honestly such a lovely blog! Also, follow her on twitter here. Dotty Dolly is a beauty and fashion based blog which also has DIY posts. I am currently loving DIY posts on blogs at the moment as it is a great way of saving money!- and also, as i am on a spending ban, my mum can't tell me off for buying it!
I am honestly a massive fan of this blog!

Tangle Teezer Review!

Hey guys!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

I have been wanting this for ageess and I was so so so so happy when I opened it up. So if you have never heard of a tangle teezer before, it is a specially designed brush that does not pull out your hair and leaves it smooth and shiny. There are lots of different types of Tangle Teezers but I got the original one in Bubblegum Pink. You can also get it in Orange, Purple Sparkly, Black and Light Blue.

This brush is perfect for me as when I was younger I lost quite a lot of my hair due to medication that I was on at the time. And now, even though I don't take the medication any more, I still have to be careful that I don't yank my hair out with a brush as my hair is still quite frail. Also, which does not help my hair at all, is that I straighten it every day. I know! I'm sorry! But I have to, as if I hairdry it or leave it to dry itself, it goes frizzy and expands by about 30cm each side of my head. Okay, maybe that was a slight exaggeration, but I just don't like my hair frizzy. On a review I  have read prior to receiving it, it said that if you brush your hair with the tangle teezer in the last few minutes of it drying out, it will become more straight. Now, I don't know if its true or not but I am well up for having a try!

So when I opened it up, I just had to have a go! I ran it through my hair (bearing in mind this was 7:30 in the morning, without having brushed it yet), it glided through leaving it shiny and tangle free!

This brush can be used on wet hair and dry hair. When I use it on my dry hair I just use it as a normal brush and when I use it when my hair is wet I use it before I put the shampoo in so that it is smooth and I can run my hands through it, and when I put conditioner in so that it is put on evenly. After I have used it in the shower, I just rinse it off and put it on the radiator for 5 minutes to dry, and then woala! I can use it on my dry hair.

The scientific side of how the brush works is that because of the two lengthed bristles in the brush, they move with your hair rather than pull on your hair. They are flexible little things but they aren't rock hard so they do the job brilliantly.

This brush was actually funded by Dragons Den haha!

I know that your not supposed to look at the prices of presents, but as I am writing a blog post about this, I am going to tell you that it is £10.20 from the official tangle teezer site. I guess that to whatever shop you buy it from it will be more or less but that is the average price.

I would deffinately recommend this to anyone who has been looking into buying one of these.

Do any of you have a tangle teezer? Or maybe you want to get one?
