Tangle Teezer Review!

Hey guys!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

I have been wanting this for ageess and I was so so so so happy when I opened it up. So if you have never heard of a tangle teezer before, it is a specially designed brush that does not pull out your hair and leaves it smooth and shiny. There are lots of different types of Tangle Teezers but I got the original one in Bubblegum Pink. You can also get it in Orange, Purple Sparkly, Black and Light Blue.

This brush is perfect for me as when I was younger I lost quite a lot of my hair due to medication that I was on at the time. And now, even though I don't take the medication any more, I still have to be careful that I don't yank my hair out with a brush as my hair is still quite frail. Also, which does not help my hair at all, is that I straighten it every day. I know! I'm sorry! But I have to, as if I hairdry it or leave it to dry itself, it goes frizzy and expands by about 30cm each side of my head. Okay, maybe that was a slight exaggeration, but I just don't like my hair frizzy. On a review I  have read prior to receiving it, it said that if you brush your hair with the tangle teezer in the last few minutes of it drying out, it will become more straight. Now, I don't know if its true or not but I am well up for having a try!

So when I opened it up, I just had to have a go! I ran it through my hair (bearing in mind this was 7:30 in the morning, without having brushed it yet), it glided through leaving it shiny and tangle free!

This brush can be used on wet hair and dry hair. When I use it on my dry hair I just use it as a normal brush and when I use it when my hair is wet I use it before I put the shampoo in so that it is smooth and I can run my hands through it, and when I put conditioner in so that it is put on evenly. After I have used it in the shower, I just rinse it off and put it on the radiator for 5 minutes to dry, and then woala! I can use it on my dry hair.

The scientific side of how the brush works is that because of the two lengthed bristles in the brush, they move with your hair rather than pull on your hair. They are flexible little things but they aren't rock hard so they do the job brilliantly.

This brush was actually funded by Dragons Den haha!

I know that your not supposed to look at the prices of presents, but as I am writing a blog post about this, I am going to tell you that it is £10.20 from the official tangle teezer site. I guess that to whatever shop you buy it from it will be more or less but that is the average price.

I would deffinately recommend this to anyone who has been looking into buying one of these.

Do any of you have a tangle teezer? Or maybe you want to get one?

Daisy Does Interview!

Hey guys!

Its 3 days til christmas- excited much!?

I AM!!!

So I am trying something new with my blog, every couple of months or so I will be interviewing a fellow blogger or shop owner.

I interviewed Daisy from Daisy Does!

Here we go!

1. What are your favourite trends at the moment?

My favourite trends at the moment are fairisle prints, over-sized jumpers, biker boots and studs. I'm also not so proud to admit that I'm absolutely loving Christmas jumpers at the moment. I'd love a red fair isle reindeer jumper to wear on Christmas day! In terms of jewellery, I'm loving full charm bracelets and really embracing the bronze and antique gold trend. I'm also loving stackable bracelets and love having a wrist full of interesting and different bracelets.

2. What inspired you to start daisy does?

I started Daisy Does when I graduated from drama school a year and a half ago. I was living in London and fancied a change of direction so moved back home to Gloucestershire and picked up the hobbey I'd had since I was five which was making jewellery. Soon enough my friends were asking for pieces and I decided to go for it and open an online shop!

3. What's your favourite item in your shop?

My favourite item in my shop is from my new limited edition 'Deluxe' range, Bordeaux: here. There's just so much to look at and my penchant is every day items in miniature and this really embodies that. I love the colours and, as with all my jewellery, there isn't another piece in the world identical to it. I love the idea that you can wear something that no one else has.

4. If you could be any celebrity for a day, who would it be?

If I could be any celebrity, I would be Kate Middleton. Not in her current condition, no one would want to go through what she has been recently, but she had the wedding of the century and has access to any designer in the world. She wears beautiful dresses, has gorgeous hair and is married to a prince! What more could a girl want.

5. When did you start your shop? + what advice would you give for people wanting to start online shops?

I started my shop in August 2011. The best advice I can give is be prepared to work incredibly hard most waking hours of the day and seven days a week too! However, that's shouldn't be a problem if you love what you do like I do. It's brilliant to have such a creative job when people like what you do and it's a great feeling knowing that people all over the world wear my jewellery. My advice is be prepared to work incredibly hard and make sure you are doing it for the love of the items you sell. Otherwise you can easily drift and eventually fail.

Thankyou Daisy for letting me interview you!

You can visit daisy does here, and follow them on twitter here. Daisy Does creates amazing quality handmade bracelets which are just sooo cute!

Merry Christmas guys!

11 Day Beauty/Fashion Blogger Challenge - Day 7

Hey guys!

So today's post is...

Relationship/Crush tips!

I had to brainstorm this and sleep on the idea as I have no idea what to write! hmm... I may start babbling on about nonsense or rambling on, so I am warning you in advance!

Okay, so...

If you ask a guy out, you want them to accept you - right? Some people have the idea that it should be the boy asking the girl out and not the other way around. You know what I say? If he is giving you signals that he likes you, then just ask him! YOLO! You never know he may be shy or he may not be sure that you like him back. What have you got to lose?
My advice is that if you like a boy, then try and make friends with him and talk to him, whether that be on facebook, twitter, text, calls or even face to face. Building your friendship up is the key. If when you are friends and he still doesn't seem interested, then just keep it the way it is, I mean having him as your friend may be more beneficial and his feelings may build up. I would also say that don't go telling every man and his dog about him. Tell your best buds that you can trust 100%, as I am sure that your crush would rather hear it from you than every girl he meets.
Just be you and don't change who you are, because there will be a boy out there who loves you for YOU.

Don't let boy's take over your life though. Concentrate on what you are doing in your life to the best of your ability, and if a boy happens to come along then great!

When you are in a relationship, as I said before just be yourself. Ooh, one thing I will stress is DON'T DITCH YOUR MATES for a guy. Trust me, my mates have often done that and I have always been a good friend and picked up the pieces when they broke up. But you know, mates don't like being used. It's not fair. Make sure you allow yourself time with your boyfriend and your mates as they both love you and want to see you. Also, make sure you spend lots of time with your family - don't ditch them either.
When you are with your boyfriend, just have a good time! Don't do anything stupid though, mind you!

Another thing, I always ask my mum and sometimes my dad for advice. I think this does help if you have a close relationship with your parents as they are experienced! Or even ask your best friend.

Okay, thankyou for reading this post and I am sorry that it didn't have any real structure to it!

Advice

Hey guys!

What I have learnt over the years, is to just make the most of every moment you have got. Always try and have a smile on yourself, don't take people for granted and be confident in yourself. Ignore what the haters have to say, what they think really doesn't matter. Just be YOU. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise. Don't be someone who gloats on the past, as Gemma from TOWIE said "cry for two days, then move on"
We are all tested just to prove how strong we are. Without all this happening in my past, I wouldn't be the person I am now. The person I am now is strong and is (slowly!;)) building up her confidence, not being afraid to put my hand up in class because I am scared of what other people will say. There will always be bullies in life, you just have to ignore them and get on with your life. I know things are tough if you are experiencing it, but you can do it, it WILL GET BETTER! Try a new hobby, make friends who you wouldn't even dream of talking to, have a girly day with friends or your mum, do things with the people who DO CARE. I am a bit grateful for the bullies in life, because it has just made me stronger.

Autumn Outfits

Hey guys!

I know I haven't blogged in a while, so I have organised myself by buying a 'blogging notepad' in which I will schedule when and what posts. :)

The last few posts have mainly been about beauty, so heres a fashion one!
Every season, I will put together a Day time and night time outfit. I thought this would be a nice idea as it is not too time consuming as I will only be doing this 4 times a year. If I do feel like doing two then I will, but the underlying pressure wont be there.

So here is my first ever Autumn Outfits!

I had a wonderful time exploring all the websites and getting a feel for myself what Autumns going to be about.

Do you like the idea of seasons outfits? Let me know in the comments!

Talk soooooon :)

Estée Lauder Deluxe All Over Face Compact

Hey guys,
A while ago, I purchased the Estée Lauder deluxe all over face compact. I love Estée Lauder products! I must admit, it has been one of those items were I buy it but never use it, as I like to stick to my makeup regime in the morning. However, I tried this product and I loved it! I brush it over the top of my cheeks where contours are, and it gives you a natural healthy glow which brings colour to your cheeks. It's not overpowering at all. My favourite to use is the 11 Nude Rose, but if I want a more girly look then I will go towards the 02 pink kiss. This palette also features a Bronzer, which Is a little bit dark for my skin tone, but perfect for that beachy summer look.
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.
As I have said before in previous makeup reviews, I am always so wary of new products because of my acne mania and the thought of it getting worse makes me cringe! But this certainly doesn't add to my spots.

Avon Arabian Glow Bronzer Balls

Hey guys,

I've had this product for quite a while now, and I really like it.
I mean if you load it on, you look like an orange, but if you just apply a little bit, it gives you a glow as if you have just been on holiday aboard. A healthy glow.
My cousin, in fact, was the person to introduce me to this, after she gave me one of her makeovers when I was younger.
I purchased this from the Avon website, for £8 at the time, which is quite pricey, but because of my skin I prefer to have good quality products as currently I have acne mania and sensitive skin!! :(
I have had a look on their website and unfortunately can't seem to find the exact one, but here is a very similar one- http://avonshop.co.uk/shop/product.asp?pf_id=37424&from=search&find_spec=Arabian%20glow&pagenum=1

I have the Bronzer and not the sun kissed. On here it is £10 which is quite pricey but I does last a long time!

Here is my exact one on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0033MEAQC

Talk soon and I hope you liked reason my review
